Hobby 2012 2/3 Berth Left Hand Drive Low profile Motorhome. Length 6.76M, Width 2.14M Height 2.7M. 2.2, 140bhp Turbo Diesel engine with 6 speed manual gearbox with cruise control and Power Assisted Steering. GVW 3500kg.
I seem to be going through a Ford Transit Phase but I`m so impressed with the power and economy from the 2.2TDCi and the fact that Ford have airconditioning and cruise control as standard equipment. Add to that the fantastic standard of build quality and finish that Hobby supply and you`ve got a superb package. Of course the 55 ES Van has the ever popular rear single beds with the added advantage of a large garage storage area underneath.
Bodywork in new condition. Fitted with electric entry step, 240v hookup and large rear garage. It has 2 clear roof lights ( one over the dinette, one over the bed ) which keep the interior looking bright and a large circular roof light over the shower room which floods light into this area.
Interior in new condition with modern bright upholstery, pear wood cabinets and light wood look vinyl flooring .
Rear bedroom with twin single beds fitted with deep Hobby mattresses. There is an infill mattress to create more of a double bed. The steps up to the bedroom have storage compartments.
Wash room. A spacious wash room with Thetford cassette toilet, wash basin, mirrored cabinets and shower cubicle with large roof light.
Side Kitchen with 3 burner gas hob, sink with mixer tap, 3 way (gas/240v/12v ) fridge/freezer and storage cupboards, drawers and a glass cabinet with 6 Hooby engraved glasses..
Front lounge/ diner. 2 seater dinette fitted with 2x 3 point seatbelts and a cozy single seat.
This makes up as a small double childrens bed. This area has very cool, dimmable, mood lighting.
The cockpit has swivel captains seats and is fitted with cab airconditioning. Electric windows and rear view mirrors on both cab doors.
Truma combi water heater and blown air heating .
There are 2 wardrobes under the beds, an abundance of storage cupboards and all windows are fitted with blackout blinds and insect blinds .
A fantastic Hobby for a couple. Its not too big but quite spacious and the fantastic Ford engine means its a dream to drive.
